Knut Hanßen (born 25 November 1992, Germany) is presently undertaking two post-graduate degrees in piano. He is studying with Sheila Arnold for the Concert Examination degree at the Cologne University of Music and Performing Arts and attending the masterclass with Wolfram Schmitt-Leonardy at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. Most recently, he was appointed a faculty member at the Cologne Conservatory. He has won several piano competitions, among them the Jeunesses International Piano Competition Dinu Lipatti 2016 in Romania. Performances have taken him to various cities in Germany and other parts of Europe.
