Fifi Zhang (born 23 February 1993) is from the Washington DC area. She began her piano lessons at the age of six and made her debut with the Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic playing the Saint-Saëns G minor concerto at the age of eleven. Fifi Zhang was the first-prize winner of the Music Teachers National Association Junior and Senior Piano Competitions in 2008 and 2010. She received a BA in history at Columbia University while studying piano with Julian Martin as a member of the Columbia-Juilliard Exchange. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the Juilliard as a student of Matti Raekallio.
