Helsinki Conservatory 2016–
Kuula Institute, Vaasa 2008–2016

Tarmo Peltokoski (born 20 April 2000, Vaasa) is a student of Antti Hotti at the Helsinki Conservatory. In 2008–2016 he studied at the Kuula Institute in Vaasa with Tuulikki Laitinen and Kristiina Junttu, and in 2013 was accepted for the Youth Piano Academy Finland. He has been a laureate in national piano competitions, such as the Leevi Madetoja Piano Competition in 2012 and 2015 (Oulu) and the Steinway Piano Festival in 2016 (Helsinki), and Tampere Piano Competition in May 2017. He has been a soloist with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the city orchestras of Kuopio and Vaasa. He has also performed several times at both the Korsholm and the Mänttä Music Festivals. Since 2014 he also has been studying orchestral conducting with Jorma Panula.
