Anke Pan (born 31 March 1993, Mülheim) performed her first piano concerto with an orchestra at the age of seven. She has received first prizes at several international piano competitions, including the Steinway in Hamburg and the Rotary in Essen. In 2010 she was the youngest applicant accepted to perform at the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. She will perform in the 2017/18 concert series “Best of NRW”. She has been awarded the title “Steinway Young Artist”. Anke Pan is studying at the Cologne University of Music and Performing Arts under Ilja Scheps (earlier Pierre-Laurent Aimard 2005–2008). At the Folkwang University of Arts Essen her teacher was Hans-Günther Weber.
